Abstract
Research on how our environment and everyday life influence our genes offers new perspectives for the social sciences. By measuring biological age, we are able to identify individual lifestyle aspects which help to slow down the process of aging. The WorkDNAge project focuses on the impact of occupation and workload, a health factor not thoroughly understood so far.

I am a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Cluster of Excellence
“The Politics of Inequality” at the University of Konstanz. I conduct
quantitative research on workplace inequality. My work examines how gender,
age, migration background, and occupational background shape everyday work
experiences, career outcomes, and health, and what organizations and
policymakers can do to reduce these disparities.
